Why I Built High Conflict Whisperer™

The knowledge behind High Conflict Whisperer™ developed through the same work that informs Children’s Interest Continuum: learning to examine a complicated record without allowing the latest event to become the whole case. The methodology and its software implementation are different parts of that work.

My understanding developed while I was representing myself.

I experienced parental alienation as a child and later as a parent. My interstate custody case involved alienation, abduction and domestic violence. I represented myself and taught myself statutes, procedure, evidentiary concepts and burdens of proof.

I developed the ability to recognize recurring dynamics and anticipate developments, including while testifying. I regained custody and reversed the alienation. My HR, compliance, systems and governance background informed how I examined requirements, documentation and competing accounts. Those facts describe my experience; they do not predict another family’s outcome.

Preserving information and understanding it are different tasks.

A message can be saved without its surrounding conversation. A professional record can describe an observation without explaining the history around it. A financial transaction can be recorded without resolving the question it raises.

Paper Trail™ teaches documentation quality and source preservation. Pattern Beneath™ examines what may repeat and what contradicts an explanation. Case Compass™ supports preparation and informed participation. Return Within™ addresses parent leadership, healthier communication and protecting or rebuilding connection. The educational methods are not software features or a sequence every parent must complete.

A tool should support examination without replacing judgment.

HCW is the separate platform associated with these methods. Its role should remain distinguishable from direct education with me, an attorney’s legal advice or a clinician’s assessment. A summary is something to check against its sources, not an authority to follow because software produced it.

The larger record also includes what happened after an order or recommendation. Implementation and outcome are different: an obligation may be completed while a relationship still needs care, or an arrangement may create new practical questions. Keeping that later information visible allows those questions to be examined.

You can learn the methods through CIC resources or one-on-one education without treating technology as the answer to every concern. My fuller founder account explains the experience behind that education.
